I'm feeling much, much better today. Yesterday was a little iffy since if I stood too long, I felt slightly ill, but I spent most of the morning/afternoon watching Inspector Gadget (the second movie) and Hannah Montana with my mother (side note - I love my mom, ♥). Around 4:30pm, I actually felt well enough to sit upright, which is always a plus. It's the eating that's giving me a bit of trouble.

I know it's almost entirely in my head, but when I have those days where I feel so nauseated (and let me tell you, Saturday night was hellish) it's hard to just jump right back into eating my normal diet. Thankfully, I did not vomit and the stomach pain is almost entirely gone. I can also breath easier, which is awesome. But I can't really bring myself to eat much.

Yesterday I had soup broth, 3 slices of toast, a yogurt, and a small vanilla ice cream to get me through the entire day. Today is going marginally better, though hell if I know what I'm going to do for lunch or supper.

It seems that just the other day, layering was only a little child--lmao :') I look forward to being able to develop more codes ♥ Annay's currently gallivanting around the East Coast looking at colleges, so there's no news on whether or not we'll have a third member yet. In the meantime, however, I'd like to offer requests, with a little bit of a spin. Instead of having so-and-so number of requests for a particular amount of people, I'd like to open it up to everyone. I'll detail the common elements of a profile layout below, and feel free to include and exclude as many of these as you like or jutt describe a general idea of what you would like to see - it's up to you how vague or how detailed you are. What are also great are patterns, images, shapes. What I'll then do is try to incorporate the ideas that people have come up with into different codes. weeklyjump reports that KHR will be CP in the coming issue. Not the one we're waiting for scans for this week, but the one next week.

tamariskw thinks KHR will get featured in the cover page, but in a minor way.

stracciato thinks KHR WILL get color pages in that issue. This would hit two birds with one stone: celebrate chapter 250, and be the chapter the same week the Arcobaleno arc starts in the anime (the week of July 18).

Happy Birthday iambickilometer!

I hope everyone who celebrated it had a good 4th of July. :D All we really did was have my grandmother over and barbecued stuff on the grill and incidentalmind came over too to eat our food and watch the 3rd Harry Potter movie. ♥

And now, I feel like doing a little pimping of a book series called the Larklight Trilogy. According to Wikipedia, "Larklight is set in an alternate Victorian era universe, where mankind has been exploring the solar system for at least a century." HOW CAN YOU RESIST THAT. It's like Treasure Planet, but more English!

In case that's not enough incentive to give it a read, contained within these books are also giant spiders, space moths, mind-controlling top hats, adventures on prehistoric Mars, live storms on Jupiter, and the Crystal Palace in London walks around and crushes things. Also, it's funny and has pictures. But really. VICTORIAN ENGLAND IN SPACE. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT.

theres.a.bomb.in.the.lasagna sends the news that the UK band The Horrors have worked on a track that may appear on Gorillaz' third album, (working title: Plastic Beach, scheduled for release in the first half of 2010).

A member of the band comments in this video on youtube: "Funnily enough we actually recorded a track with Damon recently which is possibly going to be used on the next Gorillaz record. And we met Jamie... so yeah, maybe there is a possibility of that happening." (this comment is made at around 0:50 on the video).

Damon played a track by The Horrors on his Radio 1 takeover show earlier this year, a show which he hinted would give many clues as to some of the artists which would feature on Gorillaz album 3.
